Although I will photograph just about any animal I can get close to, insects and spiders are my specialty. Many people see these creatures as creepy and revolting if they even notice them at all, but viewing these tiny animals through a macro lens presents them in an entirely new light. How many people have actually seen the "face" of a tiny jumping spider, or the beautiful compound eyes of a female horsefly? I hope that my work will help people appreciate the beauty of nature's smaller creatures.

I got first DSLR camera in 2010 and immediately became addicted to macro photography. Since then my work has been published in numerous books, magazines, calendars, articles, and photo contests including National Geographic, Ranger Rick, The Smithsonian, The National Wildlife Federation, The Sierra Club, and The Nature Conservancy. My work has been displayed in galleries across the US including a photo in the Wildland Smith Rice International Awards Exhibition at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum. Several major news outlets including Fox News, The Daily Mail, and Yahoo News, have featured my photos.

Thank you for visiting my website. I hope you enjoy the galleries.
